Pay only the General Admission (R100) or VIP Entrance at the door. No other charges are paid in advance. Enter through our secure turnstiles. Select your table or a seat at the bar. Note that each seated table is required to have a lap dance or table dance. Choose from our extensive beverages and dining menus. Meet and greet one, or more, of over 100 Mavericks dancers. Enjoy a table dance, lap dance or VIP dance from your favourite dancer. They are here for your pleasure and entertainment. From each lounge, enjoy the on stage performances throughout the night. Watch out for the more revealing Fantasy Shows on the main stage at least every hour. Don’t miss the Big Spender Parade at 11 pm every night as each dancer is introduced individually on stage and throughout the club.

Mavericks cover charge starts at ZAR100 Entrance to the VIP lounges costs an additional ZAR 500. Prices for dances and packages are listed on our Pricing Page . All cash requirements for dancers charged to credit cards are subject to a 10% administration fee. Regretfully no cheques are accepted.

A table lap dance is an erotic dance performed at the table of a patron. At Mavericks a table dance on the main floor lasts for two songs. Up to four people at a time can enjoy a table dance. At the dancers discretion, additional patrons can join at R 50 per person. Please note that each seated table is required to have either a lap dance or table dance.

A lap dance is an erotic dance or striptease performed on the lap of, or close to a patron. At Mavericks a lap dance on the Main Floor lasts for two songs and can be enjoyed by up to two guests at a time. While the dancer’s attention is for your eyes only, a lap dance on the main floor is only semi-private and may be viewed by other customers close-by. For a more private experience, request a VIP dance. Please note that each seated table is required to have either a lap dance or table dance.

What is a VIP Dance? A VIP Dance at Mavericks is a private erotic dance or striptease performed in a discreet area of a VIP lounge or a luxurious private booth. At Mavericks a VIP dance can be enjoyed by up to two guests and lasts for 15 minutes.

The Library is Mavericks VVIP lounge and is available for private hire, or if available, for a cover charge of R1000 per person. It is an intimate area with it’s own private entrance, a librarian and hostesses to cater for your every need, and a private stage and private discreet lap dance booths.

Mavericks has a relaxed dress code, although only the dancers are allowed topless and barefoot, and clientele are known to dress to impress, as obviously do the dancers. For Bachelor Parties, Mavericks encourage outrageous costumes for the soon to be married while all other guests are requested to comply with a smart casual dress code.

The minimum age for entry to Mavericks Revue Bar in Cape Town is 18 years old. Anyone who could be mistaken for 21 or under should be prepared to show a valid Identity Document, passport or driver’s license.

A lap dance or table dance at Mavericks starts at ZAR 300 for two songs. This is for maximum 4 guests at a table (R50 per additional guest), and for up to two guests in a private booth on the main floor. In the VIP Platinum and Empire Lounges a Private Lap dance is from R750 for 15 minutes. More details on pricing are listed on the Pricing Page.

There are four VIP areas at Mavericks, each with their own distinct ambience. The Platinum Lounge, Empire Lounge, The Mezzanine, and the VVIP Library. The Platinum VIP Lounge has leather chairs and couches centred around the VIP Birdcage stage, and walls lined with booths draped in thick red velvet curtains for privacy and discretion. The Empire Lounge centres around the bar and it’s attractive clientele. It extends to a private pole dancing stage. The atmosphere is more glamorous and social than the Platinum lounge, yet somewhat quieter than the main floor with discreet lap dancing booths. The Mezzanine is a VIP area overlooking the main floor’s entertainment stage, yet elevated with a birds eye view of the main entertainment and two stages. It has large booths for social gatherings and smaller tables for those looking to see and be seen, and soak up the venue’s buzzing ambience.

At Mavericks you have an opportunity to earn an average of $7,000 – $9,000 monthly. New dancers are welcome all year round and dance jobs are for a minimum of 3 months. Please read our Accommodation section to see the fabulous living conditions and employment benefits for dancers at Mavericks.

Yes. There are several secure parking facilities within walking distance of Mavericks.

No. Photography and video recording are not permitted to protect the privacy of our guests and performers.

While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends and for groups, to guarantee your preferred seating.

No. Membership is optional, and all guests are welcome. Membership simply unlocks additional benefits and VIP access.
